Dear Tiny Wedding Planner,

I am already married and very happy. Life for my husband and I is good. We have two cats who we love dearly. We can take care of ourselves and not rely on others for help. We are comfortable with the way things are. However, something inside of me is itching for something new. My problem is that I can’t figure out what that new thing is. My husband is very good about listening to my concerns, but I felt the need to reach out to you for some wise advice.

Right now I am considering going back to school. The problem is:

1.) I’m not sure if going to school for a degree in a creative field is worth going into more debt. (I guess Mommy can explain what debt is to you.)

2.) Do I risk giving up a job/career path that gives me enough money to take care of my family?

This decision is important to me because one day we hope to be parents and we want to make sure our children have a stable life. At the same time, I want to make myself happy and do not want to have any regrets. I’m afraid that if I don’t go to school, I never will. And I will be very sad.

Sincerely,
Angie

Dear Angie,

You should go back to college.  I want to be an artist too.  Tony is teaching me watercolors. School is fun.  Here is a picture I painted.  It is a splatter picture.
