This blog is not about a princess bride, but it is about a True Love, and seemingly Impossible Hurdles that, when we put our heads together, turn out to be not so impossible to overcome after all.  This blog is not about an easy or perfect or fairytale romance.

It is about the hard parts, fortitude, strength of love, of character and of resolve. It is about making a life together — becoming a family — even when everything around us is crumbling.  It is also about the little bits of life — humor, children, quiet moments, and … crafts.  We really like crafts.  This blog is about, above all else, lives lived fully.

Comment Policy

We love getting and reading comments on the blog, as well as emails and private messages.  We hope to present content that is both entertaining and thought provoking, so please feel free to comment away!  That said, we reserve the right to edit or delete comments that do any of the following:

1.  Personally attack us or any other commenter.  You are free to disagree with me and each other; you are not free to call anyone (especially me) names.  Respectful discourse and disagreement is the name of the game.

2. Post spam.  This is a WordPress site, and we have (and use) spam blocker.

3. Post links to materials or espouse views that are or would be (a) not safe for work; (b) religious — and no, we don’t care what religion; we believe in the separation of Church and Our Blog; or (c) applauded by Tea Party supporters because these homeys don’t play that game.
